Low-cut boot models have been popular in the past, and the FIELD LOW is a long-awaited addition to the lineup. It features the same specifications as the FIELD model, including an Ortholite cup insole, a midsole that prioritizes cushioning and responsiveness, a Vibram Kletterlift sole, and GORE-TEX.

DANNER
"To create shoes that are easy to use, durable, and comfortable for the people who actually wear Danner shoes." This is the unwavering belief in shoemaking that we at Danner have held since our founding in 1932, and which continues to this day in Portland, Oregon. To achieve this, we believe it is essential to avoid mass production and simple tasks as much as possible, and instead to carefully craft our shoes by hand using carefully selected materials. The first boots Danner ever made were for loggers, and had studs embedded in the soles. Then, in 1952, we created the first climbing shoes in America using Vibram soles. In 1980, we released the world's first Gore-Tex boots.
In this way, Danner has always considered the wearer's occupation and how the shoes will be used, and has continued to create heavy-duty shoes that truly perform in each respective field. In today's market, there are many challenges in continuing to make shoes that resist the wave of standardization brought about by mass production. Not only is production volume becoming more difficult, but obtaining materials and specialized tools necessary for the work is also becoming increasingly difficult. However, we at Danner are determined to continue making the highest quality shoes that wearers can wear with pride, without losing our individuality no matter how times change.
