Adventures Surrounding Ghibli

Since its release in the summer of 2023, Hayao Miyazaki's first new film in 10 years, "How Do You Live?", has garnered much attention and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards. To unravel the film's production process and the essence of Studio Ghibli, the magazine "SWITCH" conducted long interviews with Toshio Suzuki by Natsuki Ikezawa in May and July before the film's release, and again in September after its release. The magazine "SWITCH" ran a three-part feature on the interviews. And this spring, the complete transcript of those conversations will finally be compiled into a single book. The 264-page book includes two essays by Natsuki Ikezawa on the themes of "Ghibli Park" and "Hayao Miyazaki and Architecture," as well as a newly written "Foreword" by Natsuki Ikezawa and an "Afterword" by Toshio Suzuki.
