Product introduction
The culmination of British tanks born from the determination to overthrow Germany
The Comet appeared at the end of World War II as an English tank capable of opposing powerful German tanks such as the Tiger and Panther.
The basic structure of the car body is based on the Cromwell, which is the conventional main battle tank, and the main gun is equipped with a Q.F.77mm gun, which is comparable to the 17-pounder gun, which was said to be the strongest anti-tank gun in England at the time.
The turret was also increased in size to match the new main gun, and it changed to a more modern appearance.
The Comet, which reached its first battle during the Rhine River Crossing Operation in 1945/3, mainly struggled to support the infantry, and demonstrated the power of the 77mm gun without regret.
The performance, which had a good balance of attack power, maneuverability, and defense, was highly praised by the crew and infantry.
