[Pre-wrapped in washi paper.] Ready to use as a gift for birthdays, weddings, 60th birthdays, anniversaries, etc. This sake cup is made of 100% tin and features a design of Mount Fuji, Japan's highest peak and a registered World Cultural Heritage site. Mount Fuji is also designed on the bottom of the sake cup, allowing you to enjoy your sake while gazing at Mount Fuji. Tin has been used since ancient times for sake and tea utensils, as it is said that "water placed in a tin vessel does not spoil" and "it removes impurities from sake, making it taste better." Pre-wrapped in washi paper. Each piece is handcrafted by artisans. This is a set of two, making it an ideal gift.
This highly popular product is meticulously crafted by artisans at Nousaku, a leading traditional crafts brand representing Japan.
After use, wash with a soft sponge and a neutral dish soap. If the shine becomes dull, use baking soda. Also, since tin (100%) is soft, do not scrub it with a hard brush or similar object, as this may scratch the surface. Due to its low melting point, do not place it near open flames. As it is a metal, it cannot be used in a microwave oven. Due to the possibility of high temperatures, it cannot be used in a dishwasher or dryer.
Do not put this item in the freezer, as low temperatures may cause the tin to deteriorate. Also, avoid storing it in the refrigerator for extended periods. Furthermore, do not leave highly acidic or darkly colored items in it for long periods, as this may cause discoloration.
