Shamisen third string Made from Raytone Tetron, which is stronger than silk thread. 2 bottles per pack This is a third shamisen string made by Marusan Hashimoto, using Raytone Tetron. While strings for Tsugaru shamisen are now predominantly made from synthetic fibers such as nylon and Tetron, they don't quite match the tone of silk strings. However, they are superior in durability and have influenced modern playing styles, such as the fast-paced playing of Tsugaru shamisen. This string skillfully combines the advantages of both silk and synthetic fibers, expanding the possibilities of this traditional Japanese music.
