Brain Training for Adults On Nintendo Switch Supervised by Professor Ryuta Kawashima of Tohoku University Institute of Aging and Cancer Switch

The latest installment in the "Brain Training" series, supervised by Professor Ryuta Kawashima of Tohoku University's Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer, is now available on Nintendo Switch. Anyone can train their brain while having fun with just a few minutes of training each day. The game includes classic handwritten training exercises using the stylus included with the packaged version, such as "Calculation 25," "Kanji Synthesis," and "Sudoku," as well as new training exercises unique to the Switch, such as "Finger Calculation" and "Finger Exercises" that use the Joy-Con(R)'s "Motion IR Camera" to recognize and train your fingers, and "Bird Counting" and "Flag Raising" where two people can compete by sharing a Joy-Con. Additionally, the familiar brain age check evaluates information processing speed, short-term memory, and inhibitory control through three tests, and calculates an overall brain age. The Switch also features a wealth of new functions to support your daily training, such as an alarm function that notifies you of training time even when the Switch is in sleep mode, and a ranking function that allows you to compete with friends on training and brain age check results. *Some training sessions on Nintendo Switch Lite require Joy-Con controllers (sold separately). *To play online modes such as the ranking feature, you will need an internet connection and a Nintendo Switch Online subscription (paid).
