APEX J Apex J HR 8×42WP Features
High-performance lens material that supports realistic depiction
A special optical glass material that exhibits excellent optical performance is used for the objective lens (largest lens), which is the cornerstone of optical performance. Color bleeding is suppressed to the limit, and clean and sharp depiction is realized, and you can experience an emotional live performance.
Clear vision with reduced light loss
Since binoculars gather light through lenses, visibility deteriorates when light is reflected or scattered on or within the lens surface. By applying a total of 3 types of special coatings, such as a full-scale anti-reflection coating to the entire surface of the lens and 2 types of coatings that suppress light scattering, the APEX J HR 8 x 42WP completely eliminates light loss, and a clear and extremely clear field of view can be obtained.
Greedy design that combines brightness, magnification, and a wide field of view
The lens diameter and magnification are important performance items that greatly affect the visibility of binoculars. The larger the diameter of the lens, the brighter and sharper it is, and the lower the magnification, the easier it is to see and the brighter it is. The HR8 x 42WP has a large aperture of 42 mm and a magnification of 8 times, which can achieve both magnification and brightness, and uses a greedy design without compromise. Furthermore, it uses a large eyepiece (peephole lens) with a diameter of 22 mm, making it bright and very easy to see. The peephole is equipped with a target rubber that can change the height. It can be used with the naked eye, with contact lenses, or in a state where it is easy to see according to your preferences, such as when wearing glasses.
Also, while binoculars with a 42 mm lens diameter and a waterproof design have excellent optical performance, they also inevitably weigh a lot.
The APEX J HR 8 x 42WP has achieved a weight of approximately 600 g by reviewing the material and shape of each part with a strong awareness of high performance and weight reduction. While focusing on optical performance, portability and operability have also been taken into consideration.
waterproof design
The binoculars have a waterproof design filled with nitrogen gas and sealed with rubber. You can use it safely even in outdoor scenes such as outdoor live shows.
Also, binoculars can be attached to a commercially available camera tripod by using an optional option (vino holder H or vino holder MH) that allows binoculars to be attached to a camera tripod together. By attaching it to a tripod, the image is stabilized, and even the smallest details can be observed clearly.

It responds to “I want to see my gaze and facial expressions clearly.” Large 42 mm binoculars with high performance lenses. These binoculars have a large aperture of 42 mm and are easy to handle and have a magnification of 8 times, making it very easy to see. By using an ED lens, we have achieved a clean look without smudging colors! The waterproof design makes it safe for outdoor live concerts.
[Uses a high-performance ED glass lens] An ED glass (special low dispersion glass) lens that exhibits extremely excellent optical performance is used for the objective lens (largest lens), which is the cornerstone of optical performance. Color bleeding is suppressed to the extreme, and clear vision can be obtained.
[3 types of special coatings that achieve clearness and high resolution] The APEX J HR 8 x 42WP has an anti-reflection coat (hooley multi-coat) applied to the entire surface of the objective and eyepiece lenses in order to reduce light reflection and scattering at a high level, and 2 types of coats (phase coat, high reflection coat) that suppress light scattering are applied to the prism. By suppressing the reflection and scattering of light on the lens surface and inside of the binoculars at a high level with these coatings, we have pursued extremely clear and high-resolution vision.
[Designed to prioritize brightness and ease of viewing] The effective diameter (diameter) and magnification of a lens are important performance items that greatly affect the visibility of binoculars. The larger the effective diameter of the objective lens, the higher the light gathering power, and the object to be observed is bright and clear. The slightly lower the magnification (8 times or less), is less likely to cause camera shake, and a stable and bright field of view can be ensured. The APEX J HR8 x 42WP uses a reasonable optical design with an effective objective lens diameter of 42 mm and a magnification of 8 times, making it an ideal specification for the need to “see better” at live shows and concerts. Also, by using a larger lens with an effective diameter of 22 mm for the eyepiece (peephole lens), it is designed so that it is easy to see brightly. The peephole is equipped with a target rubber that can change the height. The height can be adjusted and used with the naked eye, with contact lenses, or when wearing glasses, etc., so it can be used in a state where it is easy to see.
[Achieving weight reduction] Binoculars with a 42 mm lens diameter and a waterproof design have excellent optical performance, but they also inevitably weigh more. The APEX J HR 8 x 42WP has achieved a weight of approximately 600 g by reviewing the material and shape of each part with a strong awareness of high performance and weight reduction. While focusing on optical performance, portability and operability have also been taken into consideration.
