- Aperture range: F1.0, F1.4, F1.8, F2.0, F2.8, F4.0, F5.6, F8.0, F11, F16, F22, F32, F44, F64
- Example: For a 50mm lens, the effective focal length becomes 50mm × 0.71 = 35.5mm
- When attached, the focal length shortens and the angle of view widens
- Lens release button with circuit protection: Allows disconnecting the camera circuit during lens attachment/detachment to prevent damage
- Supports infinity focus for a wide depth of field and clear images
- For lenses with an infinity mark, adjust the lens to the M position, manually focus, then screw the focus ring to the infinity mark (L), aligning with the vertical line to achieve infinity focus
- 1/4 screw tripod slot at the bottom of the adapter ring for stable attachment, especially useful when using telephoto lenses
- The aperture can be manually adjusted over 16 stops using the aperture ring
- Built-in 4 groups, 5 element optical lens reduces focal length to 0.71x, providing a shallower depth of field and wider angle of view
- Note: Not compatible with E-M1, E-M5, E-PL6, E-PL5, E-PM2 models
- Camera circuit protection: The lens release button disconnects the camera circuit during lens changes to prevent damage
