A small start: Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of two street vendors on the streets of New York. In 1992, the two street vendors were unemployed people who had just graduated from college. Rich and Nyema took on the challenge of creating premium natural products from traditional African recipes containing fair trade ingredients. Today, Nubian Heritage offers culturally authentic natural products inspired by ancient global healing philosophies. Although Nubian Heritage products are no longer made in bathtubs, little else has changed: we still make our products ourselves, we still use fair trade ingredients, and we continue to invest in local merchants. Heritage: Lavender has a wide range of properties. As a plant essence, it has been used since ancient times. Lavender was first cultivated by Arabs and spread to Europe through the Ier Islands in Greece. Egyptians, Phoenicians, and Arabs prized lavender for its beautiful scent and amazing effects for revitalizing and soothing the skin. Scented with lavender and symbolizing growth, our packaging uses nutrients that bloom from the ground.
