It's constructed with a 5-mil film-coated outer ply and a 7.5-mil film inner ply, plus a 2-mil control ring on the underside of the head and dry vents around the perimeter to eliminate excess harmonic content. Compared to standard HD heads, it has a less defined attack, shorter sustain, and is slightly less bright.
